About KENSHIKAI

Kenshikai is a traditional karate dojo of Shitoryu Shitokai which is one of the major four traditional groups. 

 

Bunkyo-ku public facilities are our training places(Dojo) and the locations are about 5 minutes walk from edogawabashi subway station.

 

 

We have training sessions  (Keiko)on every Tuesday and Saturday and focus on basic movement(Kihon),sparring(kumite) and Kata. Our members have various background i.e. from beginners to black belt holders and training is arranged based on the level of each member so that you can enjoy and improve your skill at your own pace. 

 

Instructors are teaching in Japanese, but some of us can speak English so you don’t have to worry about it.
